SPECIAL LECTURE

"Physiologic lessons learned while piloting the F35"

Major Jackson “Slick” Martin's presentation*, hosted by the Department's Center for Aerospace Physiology, will provide novel insights into how the human body responds to repetitive exposure to hypergravity, rapid ascent to extremely high altitude, and high velocity flight.

Major Jackson is the F-35A Realistic Training Manager in the Air Combat Command at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

“Slick’s” presentations are known to be very interactive, and discussion topics will span a range of interests within the audience.

Michael J. Decker, Ph.D. is an associate professor in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics and the director of its Center for Aerospace Physiology.

*This lecture is intended primarily for our Master of Science in Medical Physiology (MSMP) students, but is open to all who are interested.
