The Department will host the 35th annual meeting of the Ohio Physiological Society on Friday and Saturday, September 17-18, 2021 at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Global Center for Health Innovation in downtown Cleveland.
The meeting is headlined "Molecular, Cellular & Integrative Physiology".
The keynote address, "Genes, physiology, and fertility at high altitudes", will be given by Cynthia Beall, Ph.D., a Distinguished University Professor, the Sarah Idell Pyle Professor of Anthropology, and the Co-Director of the Center for Research on Tibet at Case Western Reserve University.
Department of Physiology and Biophysics assistant professor Nami Tajima, Ph.D is the 2020-2022 president of the Ohio Physiological Society.
The OPS is a chapter of the American Physiological Society.
