Dr. Wang's research, in the lab of Dr. Tingwei Mu, focuses on understanding protein quality control of membrane proteins in neurological and neurodegenerative diseases. The lab uses multidisciplinary approaches including high-throughput proteomics, epidemiology, protein biochemistry, cell biology, and pharmacology to reveal the disease-causing mechanism as well as to seek therapy for these diseases.
