Research Interests

Research in the Tardiff laboratory focuses on the myocellular pathogenesis of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, the most common cause of Sudden Cardiac Death in young people. The lab has developed an integrative approach utilizing a broad range of techniques including computation, biophysics, cell biology and transgenic models of cardiomyopathy to explore the complex disease mechanisms at multiple levels of biological complexity.
