The research focus in the Vascular Biology Center Core Facility is to investigate genetic regulation and signaling pathways in cardiac disease using state-of-the-art cell approaches and mouse model systems. The group is particularly interested in transcriptional regulation and microRNA regulatory network by seven-transmembrane receptor (7TMR; also known as G protein-coupled receptor)-mediated signaling pathways in heart failure.
