I work primarily with Protein Expression Purification and Crystallography Core facility (PEPCC). The PEPCC provides centralized facilities for research use and any required assistance for researchers from department of physiology and biophysics in need of biophysical characterization and protein expression purification and crystallization.
The PEPCC operates as a shared-use facility. Users can operate the instruments after training and conduct their own experiments. I am also available to consult on experiment design or as a collaborator in more detailed studies.
Before I came to Case Western, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Structural Biophysics Laboratory of the National Cancer Institute working on protein structure determination and protein-protein interaction. I enjoy working in protein biochemistry and biophysics, and I like the seasonal changes at Case Western Reserve as well.
