As a Research Assistant with Dr. Boron's lab, I focus largely on maintaining the animal colonies, and gathering experimental data. This involves looking after rabbits, zebrafish, and over 20 strains of mice. The experiments I have been involved in often deal with hypoxia and/or hypercapnia, and aerobic capacity. The experiments carried out here help us to better understand the details of pH regulation and gas transport.
A native of the Cleveland area, I received a BS in Biology from Heidelberg College in 2007, and joined the Boron Lab in 2008. I currently live in Euclid, and have an English Bulldog named Grace, and a Pug named Babe.
