Yvonne Gicheru, a Ph.D. candidate mentored by and in the lab of Dr. Sudha Chakrapani, publicly defended her doctoral dissertation on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in SOM E-501.
Yvonne's dissertation is entitled "Structural basis for functional modulation of pentameric ligand-gated ion channels."
A reception was held in Yvonne's honor immediately after the defense in the department's 5th floor bridge area.
