Faculty and students from the department visit neighboring colleges and universities to present research seminars and/or make presentations to junior/senior-level science classes. We also attend career fairs to explain new and exciting opportunities in the fields of physiology and biophysics. The department additionally hosts campus groups who wish to visit research laboratories and speak with faculty about future career opportunities.
Faculty and students also participate in many community science education events, including visits to local classrooms and school science fairs. Area high school students seeking practical laboratory research experience are also welcome.
